At Moab Main Street Quick Draw, this painting location was a precarious balance between the restaurant and the commercial afternoon traffic on busy main street! I loved this shaded patio scene, but over several days never saw anyone enjoying it, so I invented the imbibing clientelle when it came time to paint. I completed it in the 3-hours allotted, despite interruptions of restaurant owners, tourist passerbys, and cars stopping to ask directions.
